The 4th Papua New Guinea Energy Summit will reconvene in September 2022, being held in partnership with Kumul Petroleum Holdings Ltd. and fully endorsed by the Minister of Petroleum, Hon. Kerenga Gua, MP. The Summit will, once again, bring senior government officials and major industry players working in PNG together to discuss current energy projects and future strategies for expansion. There will be a renewed focus on local content development and in-country capacity building, particularly in light of the next phase of development in Papua New Guinea and a clear direction to ensure the benefits of gas projects can be afforded to all citizens of PNG.

“The health, safety and welfare of all participants – local and international – is our highest priority and as such it is right and proper to take the decision to postpone this year’s PNG Energy Summit. We also have an election to look forward to in July 2022 and as such we will be welcoming all visitors to the PNG Energy Summit in September 2022, when they will be able to connect with key project operators and the government cabinet.”

“A worthwhile conference, encourages open dialogue between Government and existing industry players in country including trying to entice more players into the O&G sector. A platform that can set the venue for policy and legislation construction discussions.”

“This conference is unique. We can speak to the Prime Minister and all the key players.”

“The presentations were very informative of the developments that are taking place in the petroleum and energy sectors.”

“I think this conference is even better than last year if that's possible”
